Privacy Policy
Last updated July 2, 2026
The short version: Tysha collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no trackers, and no ads. To improve the app we count anonymous usage totals (for example, how many timers ran) that can never identify you or your device. Everything else happens entirely on your device. What happens at 3am stays at 3am.
1. Information we collect
None. Tysha does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any account credentials, because Tysha has no accounts and requires no sign-in to use.
All of your settings — your saved Rooms, sound mixes, timer preferences, and volume levels — are stored locally on your device and never leave it.
2. Analytics & tracking
To understand which features actually help tired parents, Tysha uses Aptabase, a privacy-first analytics service, to count anonymous usage totals — for example, how many times a sound was played or a timer was set. These counts contain no personal information and no identifiers of any kind: no names, no emails, no device IDs, no fingerprinting, and IP addresses are not stored. The data cannot be linked to you or your device — by us or by anyone else. There are no advertising frameworks and no third-party tracking.
3. Purchases
Tysha offers an optional one-time “Lifetime Pro” purchase. All payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store and the StoreKit framework. We never see or store your payment details, billing address, or any financial information.
Apple may handle your purchase data under its own privacy policy. Restoring purchases across your devices is handled by your Apple ID — not by us.
4. Network & offline use
Tysha works 100% offline. The app does not require an internet connection to function, and sounds play entirely on your device. The only network activity is App Store communication handled by Apple (for example, to validate a purchase) and the delivery of the anonymous usage totals described in section 2. If you're offline, nothing is sent and the app works exactly the same.
5. Children's privacy
Tysha is designed to be used by parents and caregivers. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect no information from children. Tysha contains no ads, no in-app messaging, and no external links presented to a child.
6. Your rights
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete — the anonymous totals we count are not linked to any person or device, so they cannot be looked up or attributed to you. If you wish to remove all locally stored data, simply delete the app from your device. Doing so removes every Room, mix, and preference you created.
7. Changes to this policy
If we ever change how Tysha handles data, we will update this page and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected in a future app update and its release notes.
